Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-05-13 · Closed beta
Use of the service
bin is offered as a closed-beta Warehouse Management System. Access is by invitation only and may be revoked at any time. Final review by a qualified lawyer is pending before any public launch.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload content that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction.
- Do not attempt to access another organisation's inventory data.
- Do not automate sign-ups or sign-ins; bot detection runs on the auth forms.
- Do not store payment-card data, health records, or other regulated categories in the free-form item fields.
Availability
The service is provided on an "as-is" basis during the closed beta with no uptime guarantee. The hosted Supabase project runs on the Free tier and may pause if idle for seven days.
Data + privacy
The handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy. By using bin you agree to that policy.
Term + termination
Access begins when an invitation is accepted and continues until either party ends it. The operator may suspend or terminate access at any time during the closed beta — for example, in response to abuse, regulatory request, or wind-down of the service. You may terminate by deleting your account per the privacy policy.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, bin and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunity arising from your use of the service. Aggregate liability for any direct claim is capped at the fees you have paid in the prior twelve months — which during the closed beta is zero.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from claims arising out of content you upload, the way you use the service, or your breach of these terms. This does not apply where the claim results from the operator's gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Modification of terms
Material changes to these terms will be sent by email to active members at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date counts as acceptance. The current version is always linked from this page's header.
Dispute resolution
Disputes are governed by the laws of Singapore. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before pursuing formal claims. Where mediation fails, the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
